Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade over a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four sun rays and four oak leaves with two acorns, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked F. & B. L. for Funcke &
