Description
with missing arm as noted:) One's hand fits easily inside the puppet
The mold is glazed above the wrist and bisque at the bottom
I think this is pretty timeless
in perfect condition
What appears to be a scratch over one eyebrow I do not believe is damage but rather just an unglazed area original to the piece
Matte Green Arts and Crafts Bowl, Presumed Zanesville folk drawing with missing arm as noted:)To me, this bowl combines the perfect low, rounded form with the perfect matte green glaze, adding up to the perfect bowl! I believe it is Zanesville, c. 1920s 30s. Great for serving treats, for filling with rocks or shells, for using as a cachepot for an orchid, or just setting somewhere to be enjoyed. 8 1 4" diameter x 3 1 8" tall and in very good condition, with a bit of brown stain on the interior bottom and a bit of minor scratching on one side
