with a bit of corner loss to the backing paper at upper left and a few curls to the tips of branches or grass

Probably done in school (maybe by the teacher as they're quite intricate) via folding and cutting the paper, like snowflakes with a sophistication to the designs and the reflective silver paper really elevating them I think.
